‘You’ or ‘Your’ means the Introducer, Intermediary or Appointed Representative from whom we accept business.

The April website is comprised of various web pages and portals operated by April Mortgages Limited. These Terms of Use govern the use of this website and our broker portal. By using our website and the portal you and your firm agree to abide by these Terms of Use.

 

We reserve the right to change these Terms of Use at any time, without prior notice. Please check this website from time to time to take notice of any changes we make.

 

The Terms of Use are governed by English law.

 

 

Use of our broker website and broker portal

 

You must comply with our procedures and instructions in using the services provided on this website and on our portal.

 

It is your responsibility to ensure that your equipment is compatible with the services provided on this website and portal. You are responsible for any costs incurred to ensure your equipment is and remains compatible with our website and portal.

 

The information and services provided on this website and via our broker portal are for the exclusive use of mortgage intermediaries who are either directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority or an Appointed Representative of a directly authorised firm.

 

The products and services on this website and our broker portal are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended without notice.

 

You may link your website to ours only with our prior expressed written permission, and subject to the display of a separate URL. We retain the right to withdraw this permission without notice or explanation at any time.

 

Where other websites are linked to ours, there is no implication that the third party website is part of this website. We will not accept any liability for any claim as a result of the content or activity of a third party website.

 

All designs, graphics, photographic images, material, copy, underlying source code, downloadable content on this website, on our portal and any material sent to you by email are the intellectual property of, or licensed to, April Mortgages Limited and may only be used or reproduced with our express permission.

 

We will issue you (the User) with login details (your Login) to access the broker portal. Your Login will determine the access rights that are granted to you.

 

Users will have one of the following roles:

 

Advisor – the person who is responsibility for the case. An Advisor is an FCA Authorised broker and has an IRN number;

 

Assistant – a person who can work on behalf of the Advisor;

 

Supervisor – a person who is able to invite new Users to the firm, disable Users, view cases, transfer cases;

 

Viewer – read only, typically for audit purposes.

 

An Advisor may give an Assistant, or another Advisor, permission to act on their behalf. The permissions are different collaboration levels:

DIP submission

FMA submission

Each User will have their own Login. The User will be liable for any losses as a result of the misuse of their Login.

You must tell us immediately if you suspect that your Login is or has been used to access our broker portal fraudulently.
